The Rockmount Fit
Care Instructions
Rockmount's collection features hundreds of fabrics, each with its unique characteristics that can affect fit. We make every effort to reduce shrinkage by using premium fabrics. Some are pre-shrunk or laundered; others have a 3% shrinkage allowance.
Machine wash cold without bleach to avoid shrinkage on non-embroidery shirts. For best results, first tumble dry on low heat for several minutes, then remove the garment from the dryer while still damp before hanging to finish drying. Please note that dress shirts have removable collar stays.
We recommend dry cleaning all embroidery shirts. Denim embroideries may be hand-washed or dry cleaned.
Men’s Fit
Rockmount offers two Men’s fits: Relaxed and Slim. Relaxed Fit is generous and runs a size larger than most other brands. Slim Fit is more narrow and runs true to size. Big & Tall sizes are available in select styles and have 2" added to the sleeves and tail.

Women’s Fit
Most of our Women’s shirts have darts for a tapered fit. Shirts with heavier embroidery in front have no darts, making them less fitted. The tapered fit typically runs about a size smaller than other brands.

Kid’s Fit
Our kids’ shirt sizing is age-based. We start with 0-1 for infants through the first year (when Jack B. Weil introduced shirts for his son Steve, now Rockmount's President). Small size fits ages 2-4, Medium 5-7, Large 8-10, and XL 11-14.

Hat Sizes
Hats are made in various size scales. Measure around the crown of the head. It is easy to size down by placing a foam strip or a folded paper towel inside the sweatband.
